Reliable IT that runs. that protects. that grows with you. Every day.
I plan, maintain and secure networks, servers and workstations in Grafschaft Bentheim and Emsland: running smoothly, protected and ready to grow.
What IT does for your business
Good IT barely gets noticed day to day, because it simply works. It keeps your team free to focus, with three things.
Work securely
A firewall, updates and well-planned access protect your data around the clock, without you having to think about it.
Run reliably
Servers, network and backups are monitored. Problems get noticed before they disrupt your working day.
Save time
New employees, updates or reports run automatically. That leaves more time for your business.
Everything your IT needs
From AI and the workstation to your own server, on site or in the cloud. And where it fits, with solutions from Germany and the EU instead of the big US providers.
Wi-Fi, firewall and VPN
Stable Wi-Fi in every room and separate networks for office, guests and cameras. The firewall protects from the outside, and VPN keeps you secure on the road.
Workstations & hardware
PCs, laptops, monitors and printers, chosen to fit and fully set up, including for CAD.
Monitoring
Servers, network and backups watched around the clock. When something looks off, I get alerted.
German & EU solutions
Depending on US corporations carries risks: price increases, access under the CLOUD Act, lock-in. Where it fits, I rely on solutions from Germany and the EU, such as Hetzner or Nextcloud.
AI in your business
From a GDPR-compliant AI chat that automatically redacts names, customer numbers and bank details, to automations that sort emails and prepare requests. On request, locally on your server.
Device management
Updates, encryption and apps rolled out centrally. Lost devices are locked with one click.
Automation
Recurring work runs by itself, with Ansible, Terraform, n8n, Airflow and CI/CD.
Servers & backup
Servers and storage that fit your business. Backups run automatically to the NAS and off site, and I regularly test that they can be restored.
Maintenance contract
IT that nobody looks after fails sooner or later. With a maintenance contract I keep your infrastructure in shape, in three tiers depending on your needs.
Lite
For small offices that want a fixed point of contact and the basics under control.
- Updates for servers, firewall and workstations
- Daily backup checks
- Remote support for incidents
- Response on the next business day
- Most popular
Basic
For businesses where nothing works without IT anymore.
Everything in Lite, plus:
- Monitoring of servers, firewall and network
- Regular tests that backups can be restored
- Up-to-date documentation of your IT
- Response on the same business day
Premium
For companies where every hour of downtime gets expensive.
Everything in Basic, plus:
- Yearly security check with AD and Entra ID hardening
- Emergency plan for outages and attacks
- IT planning for purchases and budget
Process
Assessment
I come by and take a calm look at your IT: hardware, network, access and possible risks. Together we see where you stand.
Concept & offer
You get a clear plan of what stays and what gets renewed. The most important things come first, so every step pays off.
Implementation
I set everything up so your business keeps running, in the evening, at the weekend or in stages. I bring your team along the way.
Handover & support
Everything is documented and handed over. After that I keep supporting your IT, for example with a maintenance contract, or your team takes over.

FAQ
Do you take over existing environments?
Yes, that is actually the norm. I familiarize myself with grown structures, document them and improve step by step instead of selling everything new.
Which hardware and software do you work with?
With proven tools that suit small and medium businesses, no exotics and no unnecessary dependencies. Unifi and Aruba for networks, pfSense and OPNsense as firewalls. Servers from Supermicro and Lenovo, virtualized with Proxmox or Hyper-V. Windows and Linux as operating systems, Mailcow for in-house email and Nextcloud for files. Automation runs on Ansible, Terraform and n8n.
What I work withDo you also help with new hardware?
Yes. I advise you on which PCs, laptops, monitors or printers fit your tasks and set them up completely. For demanding work such as CAD I put together suitable workstations. That way every workstation is ready from day one.
On site or in the cloud?
We decide that together. I prefer local solutions, because you keep control over your data. Where the cloud brings real benefits, such as an extra backup copy or an application that has to be reachable everywhere, I use Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or a European provider.
Why solutions from Germany and the EU?
Because dependency is a risk. US providers can change prices and terms at any time, and US authorities may under certain circumstances access data in European data centers under the CLOUD Act. I have experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS and use them where they fit. At the same time I evaluate alternatives from Germany and the EU, such as Hetzner for servers and hosting or Nextcloud for files. That way you become more independent step by step and keep control over your data.
How can AI be used in a privacy-compliant way?
By keeping sensitive data inside your business in the first place. I set up AI chats so that names, customer numbers or bank details are redacted automatically before every request, and choose providers with servers in the EU or models that run locally with you. Add clear rules on who may use which data. That way your team benefits from AI without confidential information ending up with third-party services.
What can be automated?
More than most people think: new employees including account, mailbox and laptop, regular updates, reports or the data exchange between shop, ERP and accounting. I use tools like Ansible, Terraform, n8n and Apache Airflow for this. If you develop your own software, I set up CI/CD pipelines that test and deliver automatically.
How do you notice when something is wrong?
Through monitoring. Servers, network, backups and storage are monitored continuously, and I get an alert right away when something looks off. That way I solve many problems, such as a full disk or a failed backup, before they disrupt your business. In the maintenance contract, monitoring is included from the Basic tier.
What does security hardening mean in practice?
Current updates, clean firewall rules, separated networks, secure sign-in with a second factor and tested backups. Plus hardening of Active Directory and Entra ID: tidied-up permissions, secured admin accounts and settings that close typical attack paths. Most real-world attacks fail at these basics.
Do you take care of backups too?
Yes, and in a way that they actually work in an emergency. That includes a backup outside the server, a copy off site and regular tests that the data can be restored. A backup that has never been restored is not a backup.
Per project or with a maintenance contract?
Both are possible. Many clients start with a project, such as a new network, and then have the environment looked after under a maintenance contract. The Lite, Basic and Premium tiers differ mainly in what is included and how fast I respond.
Do you work remotely or on site?
Both, depending on what the job requires. Many things can be solved faster remotely. For cabling, new hardware or an assessment I come by in the Grafschaft Bentheim and Emsland, of course.
